What if we were only allowed one new post per week? Of course I'm biased; I hardly ever start a new post, but it seems like there's a lot of meaningless posts by the same individual several times in a single day...it might enrich the site if people actually had to think before they posted...?

Of course I still favor a free-for-all on replies...

Everything is limited around here. I think this joint should loosen up a bit. You can't flame anyone - even people who deserve it. There's an orgnote limit of 20, that is far too easy to meet every day, and, if you have a really inspiring day and want to post more than 4 threads, you can't!

Hell, you can't even talk about masturbation without some crazy prude orgnoting a moderator.

I'm not sure the reasons behind the Orgnote limit. It might have something to do with just stopping people abusing the facility. That's the thing - you have to expect every possible service provided to abused by some moron sometime.

Also, it is very reasonable to want to put a bottleneck on the bandwidth usage (by limiting Orgnotes etc) because you guys aren't the one's paying the hosting fees, bandwidth costs etc.
