Just wondering why some forums have pictures of prince and others have been pulled with a cease and desist warning label??

Is this randomly done, up to who mods which forum??

If you took it, it belongs to you, if its taken by someone else for the artist the photo usually belongs to them

If there are issues with my thread-I'm sure a mod will let me know Why come over here and make a whole new thread about it-if you had questions and just wanted to hate why not put it in the thread so it could be addressed instead of hanging out over here like a coward. I know people hate on pic threads-we all know that. I know this is a delicate time in Prince.org history, but still we like to have fun every now and then. Some people on this forum just love to go around hating on others. It's not cute at all.

From what I understand the cease and desists letters pertained to the pics in the Org Gallery.

None of the pics on that thread are in the Org Gallery so if Prince or Web Sheriff have a problem with them, they should take up with the people that posted the pics, myself included!

From what I understand Prince wants all images of him removed from all sites, whether they are appropriate or not, he wants them removed.

Its easier to go after the site itself, which is what he is doing, than going after individuals.

I'm just following the logic of the cease and desist, cause once the pics start coming down its only a matter of time before all prince related avatars are censored. Then the lyric quotes at the top of each page, after that then the prince forum itself.


That seems to be the conclusion that Prince is after.

I notice we can still post our pics here at the org (thank goodness) but they will NEVER get all my Prince pics because I have copies stored on my computer. They can't come get my hard drive!
