The 37 year thing is a glitch that just happens sometimes. It was once thought that it happened when a thread was locked or deleted, but that weird time still pops up even when a thread was not locked, and never deleted.

December 31, 1969, is the default date used by some operating systems. I've come across it in Mac OS X, which I run on my laptop.
I remember using DOS back in the 1980s on the original IBM PC, which couldn't save the date or time when turned off. Every time you booted up the machine, it reset the date back to January 1, 1980: Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |
