Now I've had time to think about it. I'm walkin the walk. Prince doesn't get another dime until he apologizes for this bullshit.

I have always wondered if Prince read this site. I know if I were him, I would want to know what people thought of me and my work so I know I would be reading the comments.

That's why any negativity that has come from me about Prince has been strictly about his musical work only. I've posted that I did not like the style change back in 1985, the orchestras on the "Parade" album, Prince doing accoustical music, the performance with Beyonce, or placing a shit hop track every now and then on an album. As a fan and consumer of Prince's work, we as consumers always love to voice our opinion about a product we have bought. If we like it, we praise it and if we don't, we criticise it. With the millions of fans that Prince has all over the world, I know there is no way possible for each of us to voice our opinions of his product to Prince personally but it always feels good to think that Prince might be reading your post, considering your criticism, and possibly not making the same mistake in the future. Of course, realistically, he has too many fans with different tastes so one person's criticism really isn't going to make or break him. But still it feels good to let it out and know he might be reading it (although it's not going to change anything).

As for his personal life, most of the time, all I have done is praise it because I've always admired the way he didn't give a damn what people think of him as far as his sexuality (whatever it might be) goes. I've also admired the way he wants to run things (although stopping free speech is going to far) and not bow down to anyone. Basically, he's been a mean, low down bitch, and I've always loved him for being one. I've said a lot of negative things about him on the org (which is my opinion only, and not fact, but I'm entitled to my opinion) but I have had downright knock down drag out fights about him on other sites such as rickjames.com when someone thinks "he's gay" is a justifiable answer when criticizing his music or comparing it to another artist's music.

Most of the negativity I've seen here on the org from other posters has been the same. We are strictly voicing our opinions as consumers on whether or not we like a product (his music) that has been sold to us. We as consumers have a right to voice our satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
