I've seen way dumber threads stay open. Why should that one be closed? Seems a little inconsistent.

the closing of the funny threads is one reason I don't really think this site is as fun to visit anymore, I post so much less now. I'm not really very conservative and don't really care for censoring (which is why I was drawn to Prince stuff in the 80's) based on a minority's conservative tastes.
