I can't find the orgpops option...

As in, to disable that shit lol

I can see quite plainly on the "MY ORG" page who is online without having alerts about who is online in separately little windows that seem obvious at my workplace desk.

Edit your privacy settings
Hide my status from others in "who's online" areas? ("lurk mode") put yes.

Click on tools
Click on "turn on pop up blocker"

Another way is to delete current people off your buddy list so the org pops no longer show up for those people when they come online.
