Actually, I used to have this "Best Thread of the Year" thing goin' on for like three years in a row... We had different categories and all orgers nominated and voted on the threads in question.
It was A LOT of work, and I stopped doing it around 2004. Threads are one thing... all the other categories you listed seem to be on the scale of a true "best of". That being said, I would say no. These things tend to become popularity contests and the same people always end up getting nominated and/or ignored. Did I mention that it was A LOT of work? |
