With a flame forum, where individuals are sincerely aggressive, no moving on. It would create more conflicts and hostilities. And result in more work for the mods. Carry over into the regular forums.
It would also imply "flaming" is acceptable behavior on the site, which it should never be.

I have seen this on another forum and it seems to work quite well, if a thread gets flamey it just gets moved and then people can say what they feel. There would still need to be moderation and that could cause a whole lotta work.
However i think it would be a good idea in many ways.

I do think there would be a bunch of peasy ass motherfuckers that would never have the guts to go in there though.

Flaming (internet), a message sent over the internet with the deliberate intent to insult.

I don't see how any good will come of this.
