This is awkward for me because I'm in no way religious, but I feel that the new "pray" emoticon, , is a bit disrespectful. If you posted a thread asking for or needing prayer from other Org members, would it be ok with you if people posted it? I feel that the old one we had was more dignified.

Is this strange and is it just me? Probably, and how strange for me to post a topic like this.

funny...i was thinking the same thing...a lot of times when someone passes folks would use the other emoticon as a form of respect...this one is a bit more comical and i don't think suits more serious expressions.

the old pray was good 4 when ppl have sick relatives etc- esp in GD- it was a sign of respect- that u r thinking of that person

I agree. I went to use the old one for a serious purpose and it wasn't there...
Couldn't we get the old one back as "pray" and the new one as "pray2" or something, the way we have "hmm" and "hmm2". Ya know?
