I've heard on several occasions that the mods have axcess to all notes that are being sent and they can read them. It sounds quite crazy and it would be a lot to keep track of and you mods would probably not tell if it were true, but I still gotta ask. On one occasion a mod seemed to know something about me I have never old that mod about. I hope it's not true because it ain't non of your business to check people's notes.

Mods cannot read nor do they have access to your orgnotes.

I'm not sure I believe that but I have no choice....

As I stated on the other thread, in this very forum , on the topic:

Mods do not have access to your orgnotes. They are private.
I do not know if the site owner, Ben, would have access or not, but I am sure the only reason he would access them is if there were a serious issue, such as someone being threatened by orgnote. Again, I don't know if it's even possible for him to.


However someone may have known something about you, it wasn't by reading your orgnotes. It's not possible.

Alright, let me just say I find this to be a fairly serious accusation and I'll be discussing with other moderators and Ben if need be. I can't think of any reason a mod would or should need access to anyone else's orgnotes and I honestly believe it's not possible for any of us to access them, but I do take all of our privacy very seriously.

Well. It really doesn't matter to me if a mod would read my orgnotes or not. And I;m sure 99% of the mods wouldn't. Just doesn't seem like it wouldn't be hard for someone with a lot of knowledge of the site to do.

But now, after talking to Carrie, it seems like accounts can just be hacked into.....which could explain a lot of stuff too, that doesn't have anything to do with Mod.

So be careful about your passwords people.

I don't know what's so hard to understand about this, people - there are, if not plenty then at least SOME people here, who aren't mods, who are skilled with computers and can hack your password and thus enter your account and find all sorts of shit out, like reading your notes. It's much more likely that is what's happening to you, than a mod doing it. So change your password periodicly and don't keep important notes in your inbox longer than necessary, if it has vital info/intel forward it to your email.
