Thought 1: I dig the org, past and present.
Thought 2: The people who created/maintain this site can do whatever the hell they want, and if I were them, I wouldn't spend so much of my life responding to people's bitching about it.
Thought 3: Of course, if I were them, I wouldn't spend so much time, uh, moderating. Why devote all of the time and energy to making things shinier around here when people obviously (so far as one can tell from all of the bitching) liked it better before? Why not let it just be what the people make it? I don't get it. Why make the (unpaid thankless) job harder than it has to be?
Thought 4: The more moderating the moderators do, the more pissed off they sound, and the more sure I am that one day they are all gonna up and quit and this very cool community is gonna die.
Thought 5: I'd better get back to responding to all of Natasha's threads, which is the most fun I've had in a while. She's a Great Addition to the org Community.

Yeah, I remember that. It made me happy, because so many people have sent ME neet stuff (cdrs, mostly), but I never have anything worthwhile to send back. I probably hold some kind of record for "having the fewest Prince items of any value or significance considering what a hardcore fan I am and how many unrealeased songs I'm familiar with".
