why do threads get blocked? Why?

I've started some beautiful threads, some people sat up and starting getting into them.
Sometimes another (4 want of a better word) person, who happened to be a mod, 4 whatever reason, decided the thread wasn't the kind of fruit he/she/it was into and cut the beauty down, where it stood. Sometimes I even got a warning for my trouble.
Come to think of it, I think i know who's behind it. nevermind.

If a thread is crap it will die soon enough without the help of Daddy.

Thoughts.....

my guess is the mods get mad when a too many people mark a post or a topic. they get tired of the complaints and no mater if there are any violations or not they close the topic.

they also close dup topics even if the original is closed, and the assume that some subjects have been covered enough so those topics get closed.

redface wellll, folks got to talking about how disturbing it is to see prince's hairdo atop george bush's head. which is exactly what we find there in SlamGlam's avatar.

what would prince say? eek what would george bush say? eek it's unnerving imho. almost blasphemic biggrin

Well yes, unexpectedly seeing a picture of bush is also 4 me faintly disturbing.
He's such an amazingly bad character.

I recently saw a picture of bono shaking bushs hand. Bono looking very serious (maybe disturbed even) and bush is grinning.
