Just out of curiosity really, how many of you spend most of your supposed working day on this web site? How many of you pretend to be doing something really 'important' when really you are glued to this site? I have to confess, although I hardly ever log-in here, the first thing I do when I get into work is open this site, read all the threads, keep it open all day long & just flick back & forth to see if anything new has been added!
Has anyone ever been caught by their bosses or colleagues, or lol so much that eveyone has stared at you like you were insane??? I've lol so much before, they all say 'share the joke' but I couldn't possibly as a) they won't get it & b) Prince is a 'gay freak midget who only ever sung 1999 & Purple Rain' according to them!

i've been arranging folders and files on my desk all morning.

i've two screens open on 'important' lists and calculations,
got my calculator next to my right hand, an open file lying
in front of my keyboard and frantically 'phone' people that
don't exist.

i push my chair back and rummage through file cabinets and
stumble to other rooms, coming back lookin deep in thought
and start typing away frantically on the notepad, lolz.

all this while i'm actually only on the org, doing nothing
at all



i tell you with all this going on, being on the org at work
is more work than actually doing what i'm supposed to do

People walk by and look over at the screen. People think I am strange for the most part, that I would spend my time on Prince. But, whatever. I love 'em and I am proud of it.

The other day at work I got a weird look and a "What are you doing on a purple Prince Web site?" I just had to laugh. He already knew I was a huge Prince fan.

Well I work in a stupid Department store, plus I'm on the evening shift so I'm missing Prince on the awards shows and maybe even the SUPERBOWL because I don't get home until 10 o'clock at night, sometimes later so I might have to quit this place!

I think you should quit get a daytime job, and keep your evevings free for socialising and some quality P time.
I'm worse off cause The Superbowl isn't even aired over here so have to wait until it's on youtube

I don't work in an office, but I get distracted when I think I'm gonna "just see what's going on in the Org." Yeah right, almost two hours later I still haven't done whatever it is I got on the computer for. Like today!!

I'm afraid if I don't check, I'm gonna miss a sticky that reads "Prince decides to do a show @ lizlampkin's house if she replies at the end of the day" or something like that.

Every spare minute I have at work is spent here!

I can't acces this site from work for some reason.....so, no.....when I'm at work, I'm not here!
