Is what I wrote earlier in this thread wuvey-dovey? I would clasify what I wrote as c o m m o n s e n s e I believe that some ppl around here should grow up and/or shut the fuck up. Jeez, I feel like I'm back in jr. high school again. Don't ppl ever grow out of this shit? "we can't all get along" so let's not give a shit about ppl's feelings & treat each other like a bunch of assholes? What the fuck is that all about? There's my positive/negative ballance for you. Positivity is alright, but applied to the extreme, it makes everything trite and phoney, like it's "not nice" to use our critical faculties. The price for debate and discussion is disagreement and sometimes conflict... It's much better to thicken your skin and strenghten your spine than to wait for all the bullies and idiots to leave or behave. If you're waiting for everyone to interact in perfect harmony, you're wasting your time. Cuz you see, the answer to the oft-asked question is : "No.. we can't all get along." Who said anything about you specifically? Not me.. I haven't read one of your posts until now. "Shut the fuck up" is schoolyard. If you want to give positivity and netiquete lessons, I suggest you not use that phrase. "We can't all get along" doesn't mean we should make each other's life miserable. That's just either/or thinking. There's plenty of space between the two extremes. What's better? Waiting for something that won't happen unless the site is emasculated, or learning to live with conflict and disagreements like you have to do anyway in real life? Besides, things have been rather quiet on the Org lately, save for the bait race threads of last week. This very thread is more negative than most others I've visited today... Should it be deleted? Surely all those bad vibrations can't be good for the soul?  | |

I am just as human as the next person, but there are some who are so evil, that it becomes a duty, on my part, to try and combat it with positivity. And yes, I start threads about it, mainly when people are being all out negative and bickering with each other. From now on, I will leave all of the world issues and other topics to everyone who chooses to be grounded, and I will stick to spreading love through my music, just as Lewis (Cloud 9) does. JD | |
