Locked vs Removed How is it determined which threads are locked and which are removed(/hidden)? It seems completely random, and it's annoying.
Threads with actual content, sometimes that people have spent a lot of time creating, vanish, while the pointless/redundant threads are locked and left to clutter the forum. Shouldn't it be the opposite? Why oh why? Just wonderin'. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1! | |

i can only speak for myself but i try really really hard to never "hide" threads...it ends up causing more headaches then solves...without public tracking of my actions folks tend to ummm..."imagine" scenerios that are the furthest from reality.
and *that* is when folks start to think moderation is being bias and unfair...its just soo much easier to lock the thread (with a public explanation why)... now sure there are times when threads get soo out of control that its much easier to hide the thread then lock it...but for me, i try to keep those as the exception not the rule.
