Exactly! When I first joined, It was raunchier & a lot less got "edited". NSFW didn't mean nothin' back then. As for as 'hating', I think that the dynamic was different, but I don't notice that it's any more 'hateful'. A year from now won't feel the same as it does now. Those who are used to the way it is now, might be complainin' that it's not the way it used to be, but the org is & always will be in flux. Before becoming a member, I knew that since this is a free site that's open to every-one & anyone from around the world (who have access to a 'puter, of course), there will be some who just don't like the way I post. From they're perspective, they probably don't define it as hatin'. It's just that they would like to see me or others posting within the boundaries of what they percieve to be proper posting. Which is a way of setting oneself for constant frustration, cuz on a site where members come & go & the dynamic is always changin', that's never gonna happen. | |
