The General Discussion forum has now been closed for almost two months.

I was just wondering if any of the Prince.org staff would be able to tell us or maybe just even give us a clue to what (if any) plans there are for that forum.

I'm wondering what it is that you can post on GF that you haven't been posting since it closed? What is the allure? People still post silly ass comments/questions so why do you need GF?

Well, the moderators are mostly on vacation (they have real lives, so they tell me), so I can't do much until they come back. We're planning to write a simple set of rules, post them for all to see, and reopen the forum, although some things will change... it won't be the "first" one in the list, and some other things. Also, we'll probably have a "flames and trash" forum that we will happily move things from GD, into, if they get out of hand.

I'd say target for this to happen is September 1st, but anything's possible, earlier or later.

I guess if Uve made plans then the GD forum is a good idea with having 2 sub-forums under it, but will that mean the end of any of the other forums? Perhaps "Prince: Music and More" which was created in its place?

Im wondering all this because it already seems a bit too congested.
