The Org has reached an all time low! I cant believe the crap that has gone on lately here. All the talk about the Jesus eating and talking about his favorite sexual position. It's just disgusting. I cant keep coming to this site if this is the kind of crap thats gonna be talked about. It's a shame...a damn shame. I really liked all of you too! I dont know how long I am gonna be away...I am not leaving,just staying away for awhile. Org note me if ya want or those I have gotten to know can email me if they want to. I just cant be on here right now, when you all make fun of something that is so important and close to me. God is very much a part of my life and without him, I dont know where I would be right now. God has been a major impact in my life and to sit here and watch you all slander his name and Jesus' name...just isnt possible for me. So, goodbye for however long I tend to stay away. Hopefully we can all do some learning by then. And realize that they need to think twice before posting a thread. You never know the impact that it will have on a person/people. Like I said before, I really do like you guys, but it was a big disgrace to see all that was being posted the other day.

Ian=Moonbeam- yet another great guy to chat with, really does care! Another sweetheart!

Stephen=Sdldawn- what a cutie! I have had a chance to exchange orgnotes only with, but he is one of the sweethearts too!

Parreuss,Dex,Lavishh,LavendarLace,and all those I have met in the chat- I have a blast going in there...there is always something "interesting" to talk about! LOL!

But nonetheless,I have to take a stand when something so close to me gets mocked/made fun of. Maybe when the threads/posts start to redirect to Prince related stuff, maybe then I will return. When everyone remembers the reason for this site. If you want to talk about nonsense crap,that has absolutely nothing to do about Prince, go look on your AOL/YAHOO or whoever you have your account through and discuss it in a chat there. People are suppose
be able to come here to talk about Prince and maybe learn more of him and of those people involved with him. And to be able to converse with other Prince fans and so on. So far this hasnt really happened to much. A lot of whats posted on here is crap. I know a majority of you are quite intelligent, but it doesnt show in the mindless posts that are left on here.

So this is a brief goodbye. I will someday return, but when is nowhere in sight for now. The best of luck to all of you! I am sure that I will get some smartass remarks for writing this. But mind you, this is Prince.org related. I am sharing what I feel is a problem with this site. I like Prince and all I wanted to do was dive deeper into being a true fan and expand my knowledge of him and his music. I wanted to see what his other fans were like, but so far I am very little impressed. I hope one of the goals for this site was not to get a wider span of fans involved together or to get more people interested in Prince's music. I have only been on here since May and have seen many people turned away because of the mindless crap that has gone on on this site.

This time the scale has tipped,the bad now outweighs the good. My best-friend used to go on here, that is how I learned of the Org and at that time I found the Org to be pretty interesting. That is why I joined on to the Org. But I guess a new breed of people snuck in when I wasnt lookin' and decided to trash what the site really suppose to be like/about. The nonsense crap needs to stop.

The Org is a privately owned site and the owners decide what happens to it. Ben and Mat have been doing a great job and I can understand the General Discussion Forum was more than they had bargained for.
To me, personally, in the beginning it was fun. I used to scroll the news items a lot before the 2.0 version hits the net, but it was the forums that drew me in and made me a Org junkie.

Also I can understand the irritation of many people about the silly topics flooding the Org. To me, many are funny and the ones that disturb me, I report to Ben and Mat. Fair is fair. I just LOVE to leave silly remarks to which others can react, provoke some people here and there. Basicly; have fun.
The shutting down of the GD Forum only made it worse, as silly posters will ignore the forum subject anyway and post their silly stuff in non topic threads. This was to be expected.
Like I said; I do not think Ben or Mat has realised what their site means to people and how the forums would take off and lead a life of their own. To me, it was addictive.

About the freedom of speech thing; that goes as far Ben and Mat let it go. They do not have time to moderate everything, so things are going to slip. This is where YOU can make a change; report abuse. Like I said in some threads; the Org’s what YOU make it.
Maybe Ben and Mat will let the GD forum go free and delete everything when it becomes too much to handle size wise. If you do not want to be shocked; do not go there. If you see something not worthy, something slimy; report. We can have the discussion about what is appropriate somewhere else. It’s the moderators call.

I hope the closing of the Org will not happen. Some say that it is a fact. I will take it for a fact when the site is down longer than a day or when Ben and Mat let us know. This is their child and even if children grow up I totally different than what you expect from them; it is still their child.
