france is an amazing country. these people worship beauty and promote a certain lifestyle... good food, drink and friends.

i love montpellier and can't think of anywhere else i'd rather live... w/ the sea just five minutes away from my gorgeous duplex apartment, w/ a view over a vineyard...

i can walk five minutes to a farmer's market (tuesdays & sundays), bike to the beach, three good bakeries just a hop skip and jump away... high & low fashion all around...

hmm tonite we'll probably grill mackerel out on the balcony and eat 'em w/ some good red wine we picked up at the market (5 liters for a few bucks... you'd pay 10x more in the states)... this is the life.

so true... I will do the same thing in spain very soon.
;-

that's what i love about life here... it's a tourist spot, and becuz i work for the school system, i am almost always continuously on vacation...

i'm probably headed for spain too, in september, to see my brother...

I love France!! Almost every year I go there for vacation.
The weather is nice, the people are nice, the food and wine
are great and the country is absolutely beautifull!!!

The French are a little chauvinistic, but who can blame them? I am too!!

INSIDE SCOOP FROM A DUTCH GUY LIVING IN PARIS

Alot of Parisians SMELL. Try taking a metro and snif for yourself.
The language is beautiful in most cases, but is very hard to learn because you pronounce a certain word a certain way unles the moon is full, the polkadots on Prince's suit drop off etc etc.
What I like about the 'le' and 'la' way of speaking is that a group made up entirely of ladies is feminine languisticly, but put ONE man in there and it is masculine. Hehehehe.
French television is DUBBED. Very irritating. It is not strange that most French people do not speak English; they are not subjected to it in any way. It is nice they try to hold on to their language but it will set them apart in the international world soon. People that slag the English language are people that have never lived anywhere else but La Douce France.
I work in an international office, most French people here are a bit ashamed of the ignorance of their people.
MUCH LIKE the Americans, btw. Most US colleagues are a bit ashamed, especially when you tell them Amsterdam is the capitol of Holland, not Denmark.

BUT PARISIANS SMELL!
DEODORANT TO PARIS!

HEAR HEAR!

My friend visited Paris and was standing on the Metro, it was really busy, crammed full and no seats. A man got on and was holding an umbrella. Sam felt something jabbing into her but reckoned it was the mans' umbrella so just ignored it.
She didn't realise until she left the Metro that he had wanked over her on the train and she had cum all up her skirt!

Yuck! Some French suck!

One time i was in Paris visiting the Eifel-tower. There is no touristic landmark as big as that piece of iron. What struck me the most was that people working there don't speak one word of a foreign language or at least very bad. I hope younger generations learn that better.
I personally have nothing with France. A friend once said that france is a beautiful country except for the French people living overthere. It was a friend not me ,however i've heard that from more people.

I, for one, do not attribute 'suckiness' 2 where someone hails from. Merely 2 the individual.

'Tis foolish and hateful 2 do otherwise.

Don't be ashamed to tell that Amsterdam is the capitol of Holland (The Netherlands) and that Kopenhagen (or how you write it) is the capitol of Denmark. It's true wink
In The Hague the dutch government rests.
The capitol of France is Paris wink
