NSFW links

I'm not sure about the NSFW thing. Can we get rid of the warnings?

Before, if I stumbled on a pornographic picture, I felt comfortable in viewing it. I knew that if any questions were asked at work, I could always say that I had been innocently surfing the web and there had been no warning given.

basically, I could blame someone else. But now I can't. sad If there's a NSFW link, then I have to actually click on it to view the porn. cry So i haven't got any excuse at all anymore.

Anyway, to summarise: can we please get rid of the NSFW links? Thanks! smile
But Marge! What if we chose the wrong religion? Each week we just make God madder and madder.

The NSFW (Not Safe For Work) is there for a reason.

Many people access this site from work. No one wants to get fired if a boss/supervisor catches an employee viewing material deemed objectionable to the employer. But then that's a stupid risk an employee takes.

"NSFW" acts as a warning that there is some sort of porno within that thread and so a user can choose to ignore the thread or view it. This site is not responsible for your job, etc., should you choose to click on it.

Then there are users that don't like to view that kind of material, so it gives those other users an option to click on it or avoid it. We also have a lot of teenagers on this site, some kids as young as 12.

When starting an NSFW thread stick NSFW in with the thread subject and within the thread itself.

And please, please people just post a link(s), not the picture(s). This is important so if the thread is clicked on then the person does not see the pics right away they have an option of clicking on the link(s).

The pics must be tasteful. This is not a porno Playboy/Playgirl site and was not intended for such.

Please remember - This site is not promoted or intended to be used for porno. You want that kind of thing, there are plenty of porno sites on the net to get your thrills.

why don't we just do the opposite, and label all "regular" links as [SFW] (safe for work)? smile

The term Not Safe For Work is actually quite misleading, because I work in the porn industry.

You do all realise that my work in the porn industry is spreading the Lord's word to those who have strayed from Jesus' flock. Trying to find salvation for those in need. Attempting to show that the good Lord can bring hope to those who have fallen upon lustful ground and bring them joyfully back onto the path of salvation. And sometimes I get cash-in-hand work as a fluffer.
