not just any ole thread, but one where you put some thought and effort into something that was really important to you, and it just went down faster than a crack whore at a polygamist convention? did you ever respond to your own post just to give it a new life, hoping that it would eventually catch fire?

only when the thread I make is some deep topic and it gets beat out by a thread like "do you like butter?" or "sex is fun isn't it".

when i first started here, it used to bother me but now it doesn't. most people won't respond to serious threads here unless it has a personal angle, such as someone is sick or someone just went through a really trying time.
