Can we stop the newbie bashing There are a few people on the org who are getting their knickers in a twist because there appears to be loads of newbies joining!
They should be welcomed with open arms! The more the merrier, bring them on! This ain't some kind of exclusive club. As far as I am concerned the more people loving Prince and his music the better! So what if 3121 is getting people on board and so what if some of them are saying "well I was always into Prince anyway". None of us has the right to exclude anyone. For info I have been a fan since 1984 and seen him live over 20 times since 1986. I have bought every album since ATWIAD on the day it is released and own everything ever released officially (and quite a few unnofficial releases as well  ) I have been posting on the org for years (although for some reason my profile only says Feb 2002 but I think this was when the site underwent a facelift and lost previous data - moderator?)
Yes there are many of us who feel a little bit vindicated by our unswerving support of Prince since 1993 through to 2004. But what's the problem with having others now waking up to what we already knew? Unless... It's the fect that all these newbies will join NPGMC and then make it harder for us loyal longtime fans to buy our exclusive front row tix with soundcheck access and aftershows! Oh my gawd that's it!!! Right... can all you newbies bugger off and leave my precious Prince alone. Oh come on you don't like him really and he is absolutely rubbish live...honest he is, you won't like him live, truly. There is absolutely no reason to join NPGMC or to buy tickets to concerts. Trust me!

And what's wrong with a heirarchy? It's a site about an artist named Prince--I think heirarchy is the way to go. It's definitely not a democracy...lol. I shall change my account name to reflect support of the org "heirarchy"...

Actually, that's the date you agreed to the new rules and regulations when the Org went 3.0. I've been coming here forever (it seems) but mine also states a Feb.'02 date. Still, that's four years in the new system!!!  |

I like hierarchy and newbie bashing; mainly because I go to a college where the same thing happens, because I'm British and us Brits enjoy that sort of thing alongside Pillow fights and naked wrestling by fires.
On a side note, I like porn. Also, when I joined here I just kept my head down, posting rarely until I finally got the humour and then I started posting frequently...start in the Prince section, don't ask stupid questions - do your research by reading others' posts before asking then you don't come across as a newbie idiot - just some prince fan who finally got how computers work. | |
