ok...I have the pic I want for an avatar...and I can't get it to resize for use here (it possibly maybe an avatar from a website that sounds like mouseshake)..any suggestions..?

resize it in an imaging program like photoshop or microsoft paint.

If I remember correctly, most of HQ's avatars are animated gifs etc - something I don't think our server can handle unfortunately (actually, the Boss hates them, but don't tell him I said that)

yeah, that's another thing...ben disabled the option of having animated avvies a while ago so you gotta have a static one.
