After reading some of the 'reviews' of the yet to be released 3121 album I have come to the conclusion that the 'haters' dominate this site. (unless there is a silent majority). I really do despair at some of the comments I have read in the past but the reaction to 3121 and the speed at which these 'views' have been expressed is the last straw.

I put forward the motion that this site should now be renamed 'Princehaters.org'

I had almost forgotten this was a Prince-website until yesterday.....and yes, many Prince-'fans' (or should I say: 'fams') are serious freaks who will always be insatiable.....pretty sad!





Just trying to enjoy a good pop-album!

like any of these fan-sites,the place is packed with people who think their view is the only right one..And then there are the ones who try to be funny all the time...
My opinion:try not to read what you don't like to read and if you do,don't take it too seriously as it's only one's opinion.
What I don't like about this place is the fact that religion is a topic you should skip in this place,as it's a topic that always stirs up things.
One of my first posts in this place was asking people's opinions on Prince religious stuff,and if it didn't bother them as much as it does to me..
after that I knew not to be talking 'bout stuff like that..
but,back on topic:I am not looking forward to a new Prince-album anymore either,but that doesn't make me a Prince hater,now does it?...He never should've made such good music in the 80's,he spoiled it..

Yeah,sometimes I also get that feeling..
reminds of the 80's when a lot of friends didn't understand why I was so in2 P.

BUT...I do appreciate the input and opinions the other orgers have and it sure is a fact that P-fans aren't easy 2 please

I'm still excited when he releases an album but it doesn't mean I have 2 like everything the man does.I 4 instance don't like TRC that much.
And I like Life O'Party and D&P(album) and sometimes I don't understand how
a P fan can put those songs/albums down!

If you had noticed, many of us including myself retracted some of our comments.

The album gets better on subsequent listens and people are right in that you should not post after your first listen.

I did that and well geez I'M SORRY, boo-effin'-hoo!...

Prince makes good music, but he's not perfect and neither are his fans. Welcome back to reality.



Enjoy your new album, but don't forget to buy the real thing on the 20th!
