Cause its my name.

My name is Viv, and my brother's girlfriend called me Vivid Viv after I'd gone into a particularly imaginative description of summat or other when i was knee high. It stuck. I later found out the meaning of 'id' and worked on developing mine, so there you go.

The reason why I picked this particular name is because
ONCE someone told me that "We are all ONE in our MOST XALTED FORM".

I do believe we are God's children, and I do believe we are ONE! It's is up to each one of us to grow, and ask for God's guidance.

In 1998, I saw Prince perform TheMax at the Oakland Arena. I'll never forget the image of him slamming the piano keys during that song.

Now, whenever my cat, Sophia, starts to knead on my chest, she reminds me of Prince at the piano. All dressed in black, she stands or sits, puts her head down, and those cute paws go to work on her imaginary keyboard. Sometimes I'll even do the singing for her.

About 2 years ago, I had to come up with an AIM name.
That's right - BattierBeMyDaddy was born.

Shane Battier's my all time most favorite college basketball player, and the big cheer when he played at Duke, and did something really good was, "Who's your daddy?! Battier!"

At that time, in my innocent youth, I hadn't any idea it also meant something sexual. I just liked Battier, see?!

So, rather than be creative and come up with a new name for the org, I just used my AIM name.

I got my dream car when I was 19. A fully loaded red IROC-Z Camaro. I wanted 2 get vanity plates 4 it and I liked the plates that used all of the spaces available. Naturally I wanted it 2 have some sorta Prince reference and something that I could indentify with so I came up with CNTRVRSY. The car and plates attracted a lot of attention. So from that point on Cntrvrsy became my nickname.
