You can still see when they joined, though: hover your mouse over their username, and it'll pop up with when they joined.

running to change her page thresholds...

ok so when our pages are set longer it really should help loading times for those big ass threads
you know... the ones like the picture whore threads that make you scared to look at because they take so looooong to load

i had seen the thread asking for the change and thought please don't do that as i get tired of the pages and pages at housequake.
maybe i can change page thresholds there too??

so will this change help with the server crashing periodically??
and should we be starting a "get ben a new server" fund?

Okay, I changed the pagination (thanks for the tip, Ben), but we still have these darn gray bars to contend with. Guess nothing is perfect, but it was better without them.

As far as the reply bar:

I would change the color to tone it down a bit. Perhaps using the same color that is used in the Copyright frame at the bottom of the pages.

I would also change the bar length to 25% (or less) instead of 100%

Eh, don't mind the changes that much.

Like the numbered reply very much that way I can skip the stuff I've read already as some posters tend hit reply with quote and include a picture or post that's that really big even though 4 other people before them have already done so, only to add an emoticon reply

Gray bar can be toned down a bit to a lighter color.

clicking on pages not such a big deal.
