I gotta say one thing I've always LOATHED about NPGMC that was never an issue w/ the Org was the ability to scroll through an entire thread in one shot. What's w/ this page shit?

I know we're talking a LOT of shit but DAMN this is a bummer. I visit NPGMC about once every 4 months or so, I come to this mutha erryday - I really don't wanna have to click pages

AND the grey bars are ugly & uneccessary - like someone else said who cares what # reply it is? The time posted was easily found with the person's avatar - why the change??

Also, if it's a long thread you gotta click every page just to find your last friggin' response so you can read on from there - it's so annoying

the work that i put in on girlbroslandia is really time consuming....i could never imagine how much time and effort it takes ben to initiate an overhaul of this site...so please keep that in mind when you make your statements....he is just trying to make things better..

I like it. For example, I had stopped looking at the "Recommend a Brilliant Album" thread because it took so long to load. Now I can just pick a page and not have to wait long to see what people added.

I like the new design. To me I can able to click from one page to another like a breeze rather than scrolling all the way down to keep up reading the latest replies which it is quite annoying epecially when the posts are over 50 or so. Sometimes with the longer posts, it takes forever for the pages to load, but hey I am a little better off than some people since I am on broadband.

My only complaint is that there should be an easier access to the last page when someone wants to make a reply or like others suggest there should be a last reply buttom.

Other than that I like it. I hope Ben keeps it this way. And like Sos said, give it a couple days to adapt to the new system.

What there SHOULD be however, is next to EACH thread title, the page numbers. That way we don't have to click on the thread first, and then scroll through. It would be listed like this:

New Design pages 1, 2, 3, 4, - 15

So it wouldn't have to list all the page numbers if it gets too long, and it would definitely list the last page, so you could just click on that. Then we also wouldn't have to scroll through "page 1" until say, page 20 or something just to get to page 20.
