The forums a complete mess with threads all over the place.

I think we need to sub-divide forums, neowin-style. The org would be far easier to navigate and a much easier place to use.

For instance:

Prince: Music and More
* - Bootleg Discussion
* - Best & Worst//Comparison Threads
* - Rumours
* - News
* - Contests


With the actual main forum (i.e. what you get before you go into sub-forums) related to user-opinion album reviews, interesting tidbits and general Prince discussion.

Similarly with the GD:

General Discussion
* - Over 18 // NSFW Discussions
* - Humour
* - Movies, TV & Other Entertainment
* - Geeky


With the main forum devoted to threads like "meet my new cat" and news articles, etc. Because, frankly, the GD is a complete dump and the main reason I want sub-division of forums. I hate having to filter through all this stupid sex crap bollocks to find some funny photoshop thread, or an interesting discussion. If we could keep all the sex/crazy shit questions that people ask to the NSFW sub-forum the GD would be a hella nice place to be.

I remember when, and this is sad that I admit this, I could spend an hour and a half to two hours browsing and posting on the GD and genuinely laughing at some really funny photoshops of other orgers and so on, but with the departure of many of the nicer orgers (imho) the site has seen a decline, and recently has really taken a turn for the worse...some of the thread's sink really low...beyond funny to just sick, stupid and frankly embarrasing.

Where's the community of friends that once was? I remember when this place was the only place I knew of on the internet where fans met up so freely and regularly yet got along so well. Let's bring that back and have a bit more censorship/organisation, eh?

There's already forums now that are barely used. Even if Ben added more, or subdivisions, it's a matter of getting people to use them. Some people may not want to post their thread is some small subdivision of a forum, feeling it may not get noticed at all.

Even nowdays, there's people who specifically start threads in the wrong forum for a variety of reasons, they want more people to see their thread, they want to target a certain group of people, etc...
