Has anyone else been having a problem with the alerts? Since Thursday the 8th,my inbox has been flooded with alerts for the Time shows in NY.I was under the impression when alerts are sent there are at least two or three A DAY sent up until the day of the show/event.Since the 8th I have been receiving literally hundreds. I sent in a letter of complaint on the 10th,which was obviously ignored,because today (11) before I had to go to the delete alerts page on the site I had received over 150 alerts in my inbox(and the show was on the 10th!!!). That's TODAY ALONE!!! The total alerts sent to my inbox since the 8th has to be well over 200. That is absolutely ridiculous!!!
I will be unsubscribing from prince.org, which is a shame because this is a awesome site,but this was totally uncalled for. And to have my complaint ignored....

I wouldn't be so sure that your complaint has been ignored either, it just may not have been addressed yet, and in any case there's probably not much the mods can do to help, other than advise you to remove the alerts.

There are a few known bugs but as this site is designed, upgraded and moderated by people who do so out of the goodness of their hearts entirely for our benefit, we're not exactly in a position to complain. If you'd paid a fee to be part of it your complaint would be more justified. 200 emails isn't that huge a number - all you have to do is delete them.

As you say, this is an awesome site, it would be a shame to delete your account simply because of a bug that caused you some minor irritation. But if you do Bye!
