This is not meant to be a direct attack against any of the folks that feel a compulsive need to start Jacko related threads but how many other orgers are fucking tired of it?

For me personally, the Jacko threads are now up there with the "Is Prince gay?" kind of bullshit. Enough is enough!

It's part and parcel of the org my friend! I've seen P v MJ threads since '99 when I started coming here. They're never, ever going to go away, just like wacko jacko

If you read my follow up, I said the "Prince:Music and More" forum needed a break from the MJ crap... kinda made sense to post it in that forum given that arguement. Oh well, MJ fans yet again get to run the board as they see fit.

Why not just not open them? There are a ton of threads about many other subjects. If seeing the name MJ on a thread header as you surf through a forum, then that is on you and something that you might have to live with. It really shouldn't bother you. If they are taking up your time of affecting you by other posts not being able to be seen, then that would be a valid argument. But they, and any other themed thread is not.

I think it's kind of weird when people basically say "I don't want anyone to talk about a certain subject anymore."

By the way: can we cease the "Prince was onstage with James Brown and Michael Jakcson" threads?

It's a thread that needs to be opened before you see the content... hell, even if you put your cursor over the topic, it gives you the first few sentences of the thread.

i think there should be a separate Music: Non-Prince album for, say, MJ, Janet, and Madonna... and a few other artists that seem to average about (conservatively) 3 threads per week.
