Why do the Moderators have double standards? They send me two warnings for "flaming" someone (who was insulting me), and then I go onto other threads and they themselves are "flaming" people...?

I bet I get another warning over this.

i think what should be noted is that mattperry's account was never banned..he was just a warned...

if you see a mod getting out of hand then report it to another mod....that way things can be worked out.

what surpises me though, a couple times ive said something like, "god damn..for fucks sake" and people have responded like i did something wrong....thats not a flame..thats just passion.

Why not ban him? This is just the first example, there are many more (and much worse) of mederators telling org users to "go fuck themselves" etc. But I guess when you hold the power you might as well use it to your advantage...

yeah, i've said rude things to sausageplatter in his posts, and i'm sure i will again. i know this person and they know me, hopefully well enough to know that i'm just having a laugh with them. if other people don't get that interpretation, i'm sorry, but by the same token, i'm not really directing the comments at anyone but him. same with when i have my little catfights with cborgman - for bowie's sake, it's just us being playful. if there's a consensus among mods and users that i can't goof on people who know i'm goofing on them, then i'll stop, but i think that would be a pretty lame decision.
