locked- pg-13

deleted- nc-17 (or im being lazy and dont want to snip all the inappropriate content)...

threads are never deleted...so if you want to appeal a dissappeared thread take it up with the mod that made it go bye bye and see if you can reason with them....just dont go at them hard cause thats a sure fire way of getting someone to not listen...

There are no guidelines for it.

If it's a pointless/duplicate thread, with little to no conversation on it. If the thread itself - not just some posts on the thread - is against site rules, if there is wayyy too many flames on it (at least temporarily till I clean it up) - it will he hidden.

I lock threads, if theres still some discussion on there worth reading, or if there's a redirect notice to another thread, etc...

And what if there is no flaming going on whatsoever but a Mod feels the thread has the potential to possibly under certain circumstances become a future problem?
True story.
Serious question.

There's no set in stone procedure, but if it looks like flame-bait, chances are it will be removed. Especially if it's an ongoing problem between some orgers. We don't want to jump the gun and just assume trouble where there wasn't even going to be any. But the thinly veiled comments/posts some orgers will use to try and get under someone else's skin usually get nixed.

That happened to me once. I asked nicely why it was hidden, explained I thought it was just harmless fun (can anyone see me doing anyting but? giggle ) and the mod who did it brought it back for me. I thought that was awful nice.

well, we are only human...sometimes we make mistakes too..

and if your thread is removed you should always receive an orgnote with an explenation....if you dont, well..we are only human...i'd recommend posting a thread inquiring within *this* forum...that way a mod can research and let you know who assisted the thread.
