It was kind of long, so when I pressed the link to post it, I had already timed out (which I was not aware of). The log-in screen came up, and I lost what I had typed. Is there any way to avoid this? Guess next time I need to type a topic that is a bit lengthy, I will have to create it in Word, then copy and paste it over into a thread (which is a major pain in the butt).

Just highlight the entire text and hit ctrl+c before hitting the post button, that way it's copied and you can hit ctrl+v and paste it if anything goes wrong.

1. Type it out on a blank screen;
2. Copy it;
3. Switch windows back to Org;
4. Go to the Reply screen and Paste it.

That happened to me once too

This has happened to me several times! I had typed up a really long thread...even printed out the lyrics to an entire song....and boom! I lost all of it
