now we've got "that n* f* j* boy" thread in the most active subjects, right there for any old prince fan wandering to this site to see what it is the online prince community talks about. this goes too far! surely this is what moderation is here for. i'm appalled...

i would like 2 go 1 day w/o hearing a sexist or racial slurr towards my race or my sex. i hear it @ school. hell the professors even say things n class that don't jive w/ me 2 well. i wish prince would just come 2 this site 2day & c that thread posted here. what an embarrassment 2 the whole org community.

also, i am a little upset that this thread still exists. humph, that says alot about org admin.

I'm waiting 4 someone to respond with a few curse words to your thread...I agree though that it is embarrassing to have that other thread on the most active list...A small group of people have really turned this site into a dumping ground 4 idiots...Whether or not they graduated college def. does make them an asset to society or this website...Maybe Ben or Matt need to watch the title of the threads. Moderating a website is a tricky issue but it just goes to show that sometimes U need a little discipline to keep a group of people moving 4ward. Either way, I still recommend this site to other Prince people but I don't know how much longer I can continue to do that. I'm embarrassed to have my wife check out this site lately...I speak so highly of all of us in the Prince community...Sorry 4 jumping around with my thoughts but it just shows that I'm not sure what should be done as far as moderating...Aloha 2 all of U-even the negative ones...

yes!

It's a laissez-faire system, in essence, but we DO try to moderate it. So, you're free to post whatever you want, but it might be removed later (and your account possibly censured/restricted if the action is grevious enough.)

I think ben does a good job moderating.

When a thread goes out of control it is deleted.

If no one would have commented on such an obvious troll thread, it would not have been one of the most active threads, and would have dropped off the main page in about 10 minutes.
