It's been ages now and despite my best efforts to totally contaminate my work and home computer by turning of any and every security measure to see the little 2x2 cm pictures I still get nada. It is certainly affecting the org enjoyment for a large number of the protagonists. I miss my hat!

I realise it might not affect everybody, but there are a lot of us, so if you have time, please reply to this thread by naming something you miss of your own or somebody else’s avatar as a show of hands for all of us who can't see the avatars.

I miss my yellow, smiley Mr. Happy face. The avatar crisis is having a knock on effect with the gallery methinks.

what i don't understand is.... they worked fine. ben says he changed the software or how it behaved, and then lots and lots of people can't see them. why doesn't he just change it back? if it ain't broke, don't fix it never really seems to apply at this site.

I changed mine today, not that it matters much, but I just wanted a different red X.

I miss my Avatar as well...

oh wow! i can see my own avatar for the first time in weeks!!

but now some others i could see before are gone.
