How does a banning work?

I know what someone has to do to get banned, but how do u keep them from changing their name and logging in another way?

Oh so it's a secret. This really has nothing to do with anyone who is banned it's just a crazy thought.

all i can say is let 'em try. if by some chance we don't know who's behind a new account and that person plays by all the site rules, then i guess the bottom line becomes, what does it matter who they were?

it's very rare that this is seen through successfully, though. if nothing else, people have a way of "outing" themselves, or else they fall into the same behavior that got 'em banned the first time.
