My roommates and I share a computer for now. We both have accounts here too. What if one gets banned? Would all accounts on this IP get wiped out too? I'm pretty sure I won't get banned.....I'm just curious how that works.

to answer your question, when someone's banned, the ACCOUNT is deactivated. the ISP isn't blocked. i think ben has the capability to do that if things get WAY out of hand, but i don't know that we've ever had to resort to it.

well, if someone does something to get banned, you can't just come back under another user name. it's not the user name that did something wrong, it's the person using the user name. so if you get banned, all of your alter accounts are going to get deactivated, too.
