Just had my computer guy here today, and he ran a virus scan on my Internet Explorer. Turns out I had 2,595 viruses on there (and yes, I did have an anti-virus program, Norton, on there, which has now been changed). It took forever for the virus scan to complete and for the computer guy to delete the viruses, because my computer was really infected. Since the viruses have been taken off my computer, I find that I am now able to see everybody's avatars (which I have not been able to do in like over a month). I am also able to view the pix in the gallery, which was not possible before.

Now, I am not guaranteeing that this will fix your avatar viewing problem, but I just wanted to pass this info along, because it might be worthwhile to have a computer guy come out and run a virus scan on your computer (or better yet, do it yourself, if you know how). If I had known then what was causing the problem, I would have had the computer guy out here much sooner.

Actually, after giving this some further thought, my inability to view avatars may have been related to a security setting in my Norton anti-virus. Hard to say though.
