You know life in general is like this. Some people just live to report people.

We got a note in my apartment today reminding us not to do laundry after 10:00 because someone had reported people for doing laundry later then 10 and it just made me wonder who the hell has the time or energy to report this. I live directly next door to the laundry room so if I didn't hear anything obviously it couldn't have been that loud.

I hate it when Prince fans get soooo offended if you ask questions that somehow distort their view of what Prince should be.

I'm proposing less locks and deletions of threads. I think as long as people enjoy posting on them (for whatever reason) the threads should remain. I can understand if there are 10 MJ threads on the same subject, but that's not the case with threads that many people post. The only other situation I can think of where a thread should be shut down is if there is personal information about other members on there, or if there is something on there that could be a legal issue. But outside of that, I see no problem with a thread that asks what Prince would be like under the influence of drugs. With all the ridiculous threads that are posted on here daily, it amazes me that they can stay when others have to go.

So why not just allow the threads to remain? No one is hurt by them, and if they are, then they can relieve their pain by ignoring them. And if enough people dislike the threads and ignore them, then they will go away on their own. But they stick around cuz people enjoy them. I think allowing more threads to stay will make more people happy.

And if you guys get complaints about why certain threads don't get the axe, simply tell them to ignore them and move on, just like you tell them to ignore orgers who they fight with. Sometimes we invest a fair amount of time in discussions on these threads, and because a few people want to make a stink, all that goies down the drain. I see nothing fair about that.

That's cuz some people have their heads all the way up their asses. It really takes a special breed of human to continue to complain about what others do. The world would be so much better if some people would just shut the fuck up and let others be.

Maybe I should start complaining about all the heavy Prince ass-kissing that I witness around here. That can be quite offenseive to some.

I am sure on one of your 100 threads on the subject was locked or deleted. It's not super informational nor does it create stimulating conversation (well maybe the first 15 times they were). I no longer click on them, as they don't interest me...and it's simply rehash and complete speculation. (I do however click on your more tastier threads, as you know )

I think that the mods ESP in the P:Music and more lock a "majority" of these up as they are repeats/rehashes..that stir up the some old debate...and they find them unnecessary. I think the message is "Let's not go there...AGAIN " ) Same with "Is Prince gay...or If Prince was gay" etc.

Not on a Prince Fan site...you'd get the ol' "If you don't like it...don't visit" ...a sort of "if you can't beat em...join 'em" response.

Very Well Said. It is not in EWM's interest to be agreeable...but to be SO disagreeable about almost everything is off putting.

Suggestion for one that visits a Prince Site: Don't bash Prince. It's not about ass-kissing. But it's also about having respect. For Prince and those that like him. EWM...you flex your fingers very well in just about every forum BUT Prince. In the Prince forum, you come off as an old fan who can't get past the 80's and you come off as rather foolish and immature.

Don't you tire of the contstant banter you cause? You obviously could care less for his music now nor for the p butt kissers...so why do you bother? Is it the only place you can get the attention you desire? For those of us that have been on this site long enough to stick around...that's what it seems like. Why not just leave the newbies/P-kissers alone and hang out in the other forums...where you are understood and appreciated?
