How does someone get a thread to be sticky? Hi,
Just wondering how I can request a thread to be sticky. Or if there are rules about stickys. I ask because I am trying to organize an org invasion to chicago and it's hard to keep the thread around. If this is something that we should do off org...please let me know via a message or something. I have had a stuck thread unstuck and another deleted without any reason. I'd write a mod, but am unsure of who to write, as mods were on the thread and stuck it to begin with. Again if this is something we all need to do offline, let me know, and I'll take it from there. When endorphin74 and I were organizing the Mpls Invasion and we had new info and the old thread was getting just too long, we'd start a new thread listing all the old info along with the new info, then clicked the "report to moderator" button asking them to unstick the old thread and re-sticky the new thread. That seemed to work divine.
Of course, I've been wondering how long it'll take before they make us move all the invasion threads into the fan gathering forum. 
Though, I will say I do believe they belong in GD, as they are "org" get togethers, not necessarily Prince fan get togethers. At least the Mpls deal was way more about seeing/meeting each other and hanging out than anything to do with Prince. |

Buy some glue. Actually if you think a thread should be a sticky, just request it and maybe your wish will come true, rub the geenie lamp. [Edited 2/17/05 20:23pm]
