Is it just me or are many threads being shutdown somewhat abruptly by over zealous moderators? Tried to post this before and it was REmoved because it was "too way off topic" to be in the associated artists forum. Does it fit here or will my question/opinion be blocked once again-thus proving my thought/theory?

well, what is it you're trying to talk about?

Anxiety many feel that some are over zealous and certain ones are allowed to get away with things while others are not. With the people ive spoken to they are finding this rather upseting, they want to talk about it in the open forum so things can be resolved but fear they will get a ban or shot down.

Dont spank me i'm just repeating what i've been told.

My original post was just an observation of other threads being shutdown rather abruptly. The topics varied from stupid questions about prince fathering children to other "deeper" topics. My post simply stated MY opinion that some moderators are over zealous and I posted it in the associated artists forum because that was where I saw some posts locked prematurely. I was informed by handclapsfingersnapz (sp?) that my post was WAY off topic and that in the future I should try to stay on topic or risk having my posts moved or REMOVED. She then proceeded to REMOVE my original post. So, now is this a thread about SOMETHING????

I don't moderate that forum or frequent it, but we also get alot of "nonsense" threads popping up in GD from time to time, for example. If the whole page is filled with these threads, I may lock a few just to tone it down, rather than get rid of all of them.

Site issues should stay in this forum, not Associated Artists forum, even though that may have been the area you were having problems with.
