I know this question has probly been asked a thousand times but for some reason the gallery images arent showing up im just getting red x;s can someone help me out on this thanks in advance

I, too, have never been able to access the gallery and cannot figure out why. This seems to be a consistent enough question, but the responses are always sarcastic and offer little (read "NO") help. So, for once, maybe a straightforward response to what seems to be a common problem could be offered.

We're not unintelligent people. Just a bit of clear advice. Let it go, man.

Always had problems with the gallery, and only once in a while a few photos will show as thumbnails, yet will not show in the pop up window.
I know the java on my computer is screwed a bit, but I've installed and re-installed and de-installed and re-installed. Nothing helps.
I hope they can change the way the gallery is right now, to something simpler that doesn't require Java.

i just had the same problem. I turned off my firewall and it worked. Goodluck
