As someone who knows Evil away from this place, he is not racist or sexist. He is my friend, and I will stand by him anytime. I don't agree with his views on a whole lotta shit, but he was an intergral part of the Org for me.

I did actually have a nice time hanging out with him that night. I think I really tried to convince him that not all of Prince's work was bad. I mean, I don't think EVERYTHING Prince did was great, but at least I still respect him as an artist and I understand that whatever he does with his music, then that's where he's at and where his heart is.

I don't know if that message ever got through to him though.

It is hard moderating a site when dealing with so many complex issues.

I am sure the moderators use their wit when moderating people, taking into consideration what others think of it.

On the other hand, some people should indeed not be so touchy on some subjects and also let people with other opinions be heard, as long as these people stay within the lines specified in the Org rules we all agreed to.

On the other hand, these discussions will be part of the site as long as a music site keeps on hosting General Discussion forums, where teenagers can bitch about 4" long penises and forums about religion and politics, which always will heat up debates.

I myself never venture into P+R often, sticking to the wacky GD and the Music: Non Prince forums. But as long as we do I am all for a debate sparked by as many views we can get, just to open up our minds to different ways of thinking.

well i don't feel bad. i could care less one way or the other. i didn't even realize he was banned until this topic came up. i just think he's cute in the picture, not his brain. i didn't really know the guy and he's not someone that i'd conversate with anyway. i'm surprised that so many people miss him. Mr. Bungle made a thread talking about the hypocracy on the org for letting him stay when Pej was banned and everyone was agreeing with mr. bungle and now ewm is banned and everyone misses him-go figure. he put on a great show tho.

Although EWM isn't completely honest and can't tell the whole truth in this letter he and everyone else should be allowed back eventually! They would know what not to say to get banned again.
