No they aren't. The only Im Back threads are from people who took a vacation or stated they had to be off for logistical reasons and so on. Never for being frustrated with the site.

Most of the ones who do leave for moderation or site reasons do not state they are leaving, they just bounce. And if they do, they stay gone.

I do hope that the people here stay for as long as they want...I mean goodness if I am still here in 10 years...shoot me. ok? Some people realize that they spend way too much time on here than they would like and do a reality check and the only way to stop coming here is to just not come here.

I just see some folks leaving due to "negativity" and such...but there was like a big exodus in the past few weeks and it seemed a little odd, so I posed the ??? I hope that a ban of one orger wouldn't lead to a mass of people leaving. Because if they were banned, it wasn't for no reason...and I'm sure there were warnings sent (and if you were a friend of a person who did get banned and knew they were getting warned, shoulda told them to tone it down and be respectful to rules, or the fun might stop. They don't own the site and neither do you or me...Ben does and he makes the rules along with the mods. It's just that simple.)

I do think it's important that if you are on here often and leave...tell someone or start a goodbye thread, so we don't think you died or something.

yeah, right actually, it's just that time of year, between November and February, when everyone and their brother feels like they have to throw a tantrum over some meaningless bullshit or other and is leaving the site forever in a fit of indignant self-righteousness because they or their friends are being unfairly persecuted. happens at every interactive site i've ever participated in. moderated, or not.
