...Ben's impending contact with 2the9s to discuss the issue of his banning. That was some time ago, and still not a single frigging BEEP has been heard from Ben regarding this, I know because I am in contact with 9sey. It very much looks like a blatant lie to shut all of us up regarding 2the9s, and it stinks of cowardice. Of course no other moderators of the site can be accused for this, but I think that all of them also should be a little apprehensive about this, because it shows a disrespect towards the users of the site.

As much as I love you , I think this thread would be useless. how about orgnoting him instead?
And even if it was just to shut us up, that's his choice to make. He has worked very hard to bring us what fills our empty hours during the day and has done a great job. And I bet that sometimes he feels like we're laughing in his face, instead of respecting him by staying civilized.
I am in no way talking about the 9s case. I have no clue nor want to know what the exact reason for banning was.
But most of us feel like we can act and say whatever we want because this is the internet. Forgetting that in real life, whoever acted like that would probably get beaten up or even jailed for such flaming that sometimes goes here.

As for the rest of your post, your reasoning around Ben's godship on this site sounds a lot like some people's reasoning about Prince... not healthy He created it but he's human, that means he will make mistakes and err as well. I believe he has made a serious boo boo in this instance.

If I look at at the forums, sometimes it really seems like we're no more than 8 years old. And we're still acting that way today.
Didn't they remind us a few weeks ago that we should LINK nude pics? It lasted a few days where we linked images, and check the GD forum now - full of nudity pics again. I would also feel tired of repeating myself, asking over and over again to keep the rules. I can only assume he might have snapped.
