Alright, I shyed away from posting anything for a while cause I tend to stay outta drama and whatnot when I'm not directly involved, but I decided to add my two cents anyway. Not that it really matters, or what I have to say will change anything.

I miss 9s. I want him unbanned.
And after meeting Matt in person and getting to know him the timiest but better, I like him a lot and he doesn't seem the type to go in for power battles or petty crap like that, so I wanna give him the benfit of the doubt. I fully admit that I don't really understand the reasons he was banned in the first place and concede it's possible there's lotsa stuff I don't know about that could've been heck for the mods.
But, see, I think that's why it's so frustrating/puzzlesome/troubling. Of all the other people that have been permenently banned since I've been a part of the org, while I may not always have agreed, I've at least understood why and where the reasoning came from. With this one, its still just not clear to me.

So I hope things can be worked out when Ben gets a chance and all that good stuff. At this point, it should just be water under the bridge, all happy whatnot, good night.

A status update for those concerned....

Ben contacted me today and asked if we could set up a telephone call to discuss this matter, so he can make a final decision. I hope we'll be able to make it happen tomorrow (Wednesday). I've told him that I'm available all day, and I've given him both my home and cell telephone numbers.

1) 2the9s isn't banned "forever." He's banned indefinitely. At this time, we haven't decided if and when he'll be allowed back.

2) Nep2nes is once again an .org member in good standing, although she doesn't post nearly as much as she used to.

I hope that this thread along with the others discussing 9s being banned is taken into consideration, his presence here is genuinely missed and I know that the decision ultimately belongs to Ben, but I just wanted to say this.
