I have noticed that some of the org's former shit stirrers, like IceNine, Aaron, and others seem to still be here under other names. Have you noticed that? I noticed this because it seems that there is still some serious racist overtones and such here.

who cares? are you that lacking in a life of your own that you need to police who uses a prince fan website? rolleyes

Disagreed with Matt.

What's worse, is the paranoid witchhunts that continue to go on here, long after the problem-orger has been banned.

This is so true. It's really, very sad, and quite fucking pathetic.

It would be true if the problem orger stayed banned then yes ridiculous to witchunt an imaginary banned orger but I think almost everyone on this thread knows the problem orger is back.... I'll even bet he wasn't a problem orger in some folks eyes but admired for his high IQ and great vocabularic skills! Go shorty!!! woot!

Vocabularic? You just made that up! smile

Pej mate, to be honest I find all that stuff a bit silly. The internet is full of jerks, full of people with weird, fucked up views of the world, full of people with shit communication skills, and full of people you won't get along with for one reason or another.

As mentioned above, it isn't really a simple matter to permanently prevent someone from accessing the site if they really want to. In fact it is nigh on impossible, and probably not worth pursuing.

So assuming that there's gonna continue to be plenty of morons on the net, plenty of idiots on the Org, and plenty of people who you will simply never get along with... what to do? Bury your computer in the back garden and get a different hobby? Not a bad idea. However another approach is just to enjoy the site for what it is, accepting that there are people who you will never be best mates with, and just either disregard their posts or engage them as you see fit (in keeping with the site rules, blah blah).

We don't all have to like each other, or enjoy talking to each other... we just have to keep it civil and hopefully find enough fun and enough people on our own wavelength to offset having to put up with all the cunts. Quite honestly I find all the cliquish Orgtastic witch-hunt shit just as tedious as the people who've been banned.

you're nuts.

the obvious answer is to sniff them out their new user names CIA-style like they're terrorists and keep talking about them incessantly because we and they alike get off on it.

and since that's the current approach and apparently doesn't work (they say), we should just track them down at their homes and kill them to insure that they are never again able to get on the internet again, let alone create a new org account.

it's right there in front of you, ian. i can't believe you'd be so stupid as to not see the appropriate solution smile

Damn, you're right! It's a solution!

Now there may be some namby pamby liberals who'd claim that execution is a trifle extreme for the mere crime of flaming on a Prince fan site. However, this is the Org we are talking about here - this is serious business. The very fact that some people who I've disagreed with over the years here are still permitted to draw air into their lungs and exist on the same planet as me is, to be honest, not an acceptable situation. I should NOT have to share the internet with people who I disagree with, or with people who I don't like.

I stay awake at night, sweating, worried that IceNine or Aaron or 2the9s could still be on the Org. reading and posting as bold as brass. Imagine!

Faux

I can understand people getting upset about well-liked orgers getting banned, and I for one would like to see 2the9s back. But how, then, can you complain about other orgers being 'allowed' back? One orger's IceNine is another orger's 2the9s.

As for morons on the site, why worry about former morons coming back when there are plenty of new morons joining the site every week? They're just a drop in the moronic ocean.
