Screw MJ, What's with all the Britney Threads? I find it funny that there's a note discouraging the overproliferation of MJ threads yet Britney Threads seem to be popping up all the time. At least MJ has/had talent and made some good music. Why would anyone who was into Prince even give Britney's music the time of day?
Forgive me if this has already been addressed or if this seems a lame reason to start a thread (IE a thread about other threads) I just had to get that off my chest. | |

Because it tastes good every now and then even though you know it's not nutritious. Anyway, I'm not aware that once you become a Prince fan you have to stop listening to fluffy pop music. All this being said there is a chronic amount of Britney discussions on this board, which would be tolerable if she were. But she's pretty much a bimbo with a voice as thin as tissue paper. Every little thing she does gets reported on ad nauseum, like she's Maria Callas or Madonna or something. She gets drunk, sun bathes on the beach or marries so and so and everyone talks about it for weeks. But why should the org be any different I suppose? |

I posted a thread asking for the Brit Lovers to at least keep the topics to Brits music...if I wanna hear gossip, I can go somewherre else that bombards me with Brit crap all the time. I was told to police myself by a very lovely orger who is like her number one fan..and not click on the threads. Which I thoght was spectacular advise  .
I am with you guys...I say let's keep the Brit threads down to music only....or even better BANNED  Christian Zombie Vampires | |

Because, at one time every other thread was an MJ thread!!!. Most of them not very nice either.
It's gone down because of the disclaimer. Though, nonsense threads about any artist will meet the same fate. |

ummm....if we are gonna go nuts over the amount of mj threads then i think we need to consider the same for the madge and nipple queen....
its getting really stinky up in that forum.....unless you have an interest in one of four artist.... viva diversity... Space for sale... | |

Though, nonsense threads about any artist will meet the same fate. im sorry june7 but thats overexaggerating things a bit, no? we all agreed on the mj sticky because there was an overwhelming number of mj threads.....and imho, i personally feel, for me, my view is that there are way to many madge, mj, britney and janet threads...

oye!! i just got off a six hour flight from florida and im not thinking straight...this isnt an arguement over "why" we moderators agreed to limit the mj threads...thats in the past...
however, i think we do need to evaluate the initial request and think about the responces from those who visit and at least "consider" their request..... i say this not as a moderator but as a visitor to that forum..... (wait, i guess i could just start locking up all the excessive threads myself....oh yeah....boy oh boy do i need sleep....) :mrgreen; Space for sale... | |
