not all are like this but most are. There are the exception and the best would be that beautiful mod from Detroit who says it like she sees it and goes by what is right not what is best for her. If the other mods took this approach maybe undue problems like this one wouldn't occur and then posts like this wouldn't need to be started.

wow..i think you guys are reading way too much into this situation....i try my hardest to be fair and balanced when it comes to moderation.....do i visit every single thread in this forum 100% of the time? hell no.....i try to skim through as much as possible. but a lot of the time I’m reviewing from work and the org doesn’t get 100% of my attention...additionally, I got a lot personally going on and I don’t get to review threads as much as I would like. Now with that being said; all “report to moderator” requests are being acted on. I’m a bit surprised at all the complaints being thrown at us within this thread. Especially from people who have never reported any of their concerns prior. Expecially when there is no conspiracy...the explenation for why some of the comments were allowed to stay up? cause i didnt see em and none of you all reported them....

i think its telling that i delete comments from pej *and* ewm on equal level.....technically they both could have been banned a while back. But I understand that one can easily get engrossed in the heat of the debate and respond with an “out of pocket” comment. I extend this leniency with all visitors of this forum and website (regardless of political affiliation). Only when someone is extremely hateful with their comments have I had to ban the user. But thats how *i* moderate. i respect and support the actions taken by Matt in this case...and i think everyone else should also..its time to move on and get back to enjoying our netspace.....

My orgnotes, email and the “report to mod” option are always there for anyone who feels action is needed or who would like to provide me with constructive criticism. “Constructive” being the operative word.

one more thing: the suspension of pej’s account has absolutely nothing to do with ewm.

I apologize for my comment about the posts that are left up, SOS. I always though that the mods read all the threads.

let me add one more thing....everytime a new conservative poster joins us i have to grow through a "breaking-in" period..i dont know if its because conservatives feel threatened by the overwhelming liberal slant thats here but whatever the case.."KEEP IT FRIENDLY" is a rule, not a request..

This thread makes me want to be sick! There is tons of racism on this site, but it's not coming from EWM. He does speak his mind and there are times when he may offend some with his outspoken views, but I do not and have not ever considered him to be a racist.
