The whole thread appearing when responding to posts. Sorry, but I don't like this at all. It is so frustrating waiting for the page to load when all you want to do is add your comment.
With this system you have to wait for the page to load 3 seperate times if you want to add a comment. I'm sure if you've got a high speed connection it's no big deal but for those of us who don't (like me) it is really frustrating. Especially on long threads and you want to join in the debate/flaming. I appreciate that it is sometimes useful to see the whole thread when replying. Before i got around this by right-clicking on the reply button and opening the reply box in a new window. That was MUCH quicker. Is it at all possible for people to have an option NOT to view the whole thread when replying? Anyone else feel the same way about this as me? Founder | You should soon see a new option in 'Forum settings' under 'Your account', which will allow you to set your preference: see the entire thread, or just the last post, when replying... ben -- "the prince.org guy" |
